Hi! My name is Nadine and I’m a yoga lover living in Amsterdam. When I was younger, I used to spend almost all my free time on the tenniscourt. There was nothing I loved to do more than playing tennis and having fun with my friends. At about 16, my shoulder started to play up and shortly after that I moved to Amsterdam to start my studies.
I started to try out yoga mostly for my physical benefit. But after a while I noticed that yoga was much more for me then just that. It allowed me to get my thoughts straight and taught me how to reflect on myself in a gentle way.
I believe yoga can help everybody, in any way, depending on the person practicing it. After having finished RYT 200 in India I want to share my knowledge. My goal is to keep yoga flexible, low key and accessible for everyone, with a focus on conscious alignment. A good intensive flow is my favourite but won’t be much help without performing the asanas correctly.
We tend to forget that yoga is about being aware of what you are doing and how you are doing it rather then rushing through a flow of asanas. Sometimes you need to take it slow to be able to keep moving at all.
